Currently listening to Delta Goodrem's The Guardian & I Can't Break It To My Heart

I know I haven't updated, but I had no time! So sorry! -_-'

My uncle's company annual dinner was held on the 1st of February.

It was interesting....to say the least.

Too bad I didn't have the camera because my dad took it to Australia. Cis. But then there are pictures from the company server, so maybe I'll post those up later.

All the staff had to wear nametags that night. Quite cute la actually. Mine had my name and 'Committee' on it. Teehee.

That night Anis and I were in charge of locating the staff's name tags as they registered at the counter.

Felt like it was some sort of orientation night, which was kinda what it was, since it's the first time that my uncle's company actually held something like that.

Our entertainment for the night was queer....in every sense of the word.

Because it just so happened that the committee to call on a bunch of transsexual performing group as our entertainment.

It DEFINITELY took some getting use to.

I mean, they all had BOOBS. And some had really nice legs. How unfair.

Watching them is sort of like watching a car wreck. You don't want to watch them, yet you can't take your eyes off of them.

Their performances were basically like how drag queens would perform, as in they dance and lipsync to songs la.

At first it was okay cause they were just on stage and not disturbing anybody, but during their second performance, they started going down the stage and go up to guys and did lapdances or just bump and grind against the guys.

It was a shock to the faint-hearted guys (and ladies, too).

And so when they perform the next few times, most of the guys had left their seats on the pretense of going out for a smoke, going out to the toilet or taking some more food. It was damn funny.

I went back around 12.30 am, and Anis and I went for a drive around KL just for the heck of it.
I really don't get why people assume that I look like someone who will get scared driving on the road at night. I seriously have no problem driving at night. I mean, I prefer not to, but once I'm out, I'm okay. The reason I say this because every time I go out at night, people will be asking "Eh, tak takut ke drive malam-malam?" and I seriously wonder whether there's something on my face that makes people think I'm scared of driving in the dark. Funny. Do I look that fragile and vulnerable?

The next day, I went to Low Yat with Ine because she needed to buy a laptop and I ended buying this 4GB pendrive for RM53. I needed a new pendrive because my old pendrive was "abused" by the company server and is full of virus. When I saw that 4GB pendrive for RM53, I definitely snapped it up! Damn cheap, right?

Oh, my uncle is going to hold another annual dinner, this time for his company in Subang Jaya. The dinner is set for next Friday, which is the 15th. And guess who has to deal with the hotel? Yours truly.

Oh yeah, ME. And I am so not a people's person.

I'm so scared I might screw up everything!

But so far everything has gone quite smoothly. Let's hope it stays that way.

Oh, I've also had to go into the office on Thursday, which just so happened to be the first day of Chinese New Year because we were supposed to have a meeting.

Which didn't happen, by the way.

And so I had come into the office for nothing and had to go again yesterday because the meeting was reschedule to yesterday. I am so claiming overtime. Right now, I have a mountain of work that needs to be done by tomorrow morning. Basically I have to compile some data into graphs and stuff. I don't have a problem with that because I'm majoring in Econometrics in Monash and these things are basically what I've learnt in uni. For once, I am actually applying what I learn!!! Kinda reminds me of my assignments back in uni. Hahaha.

Oh, I've done two trips to KLIA in the past couple of days to see my friends off and I'm going to send two more people off tomorrow (Zaty) and Wednesday (Ine). There goes my salary. Sigh. And I'm going to be dead tired by the time all of this is over. But I don't mind, cause these are my close friends and I'm not going to see them anymore in the near future.

I feel so abandoned. :-( But maybe I'll get to join them someday. Hopefully.

Okiedokes, need to get back to my assignment work.

Toodles!
